The International Conference on Building And Simulation (BAS) will take place at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in Hong Kong, China, from 11-13 June 2026. BAS2026 fosters collaborations among researchers, architects, environmental scientists, facility managers, and policymakers, focusing on energy efficient building and low carbon city solutions. I presented my work about Orthogonality-constrained basis driven model predictive control for few-shot adaptation in HVAC system control.

Talk and Round-Table Conversation in 2025 Low-carbon Cities & Urban Energy Systems

CUE2025 was organized by the renowned Applied Energy Innovation Institute (AEii) and International Centre of Urban Energy Nexus (UEX), the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Energy360. The CUE2025 was hosted by the University of Kitakyushu and supported by the international journals, Applied Energy, Advances in Applied Energy.

I’m honored to be invited to give a talk on AutoControl: an end-to-end fully automated workflow for control design of building energy systems. And a round table talk was conducted after the presetation.

IBPSA Education Webinars

IBPSA Education Webinars are organized by IBPSA Education Committee, with the purposes of 1) to identify education and training needs throughout the building simulation performance community including academia, private sector and government; 2) to initiate, develop, encourage and/or coordinate new education material and methods; 3) offer training sessions to non-members as well as members; 4) promote the development and sharing of best practices in Builiding performance simulation education.
